The Elliott School of International Affairs will now house a well-known foreign affairs academic journal. On Wednesday the School announced that The Washington Quarterly will be moving its offices to the fifth floor of the school. Currently, The Washington Quarterly is located at the Center for Strategic and Internal Studies on Rhode Island Avenue.
“The acquisition of The Washington Quarterly is a great step forward for the Elliott School, which prides itself on both research and the application of research in the policy world,” said Elliott School Dean Michael Brown in a written statement.
The Washington Quarterly is a journal that since 1978 has examined key international issues in-depth. Articles are written by a wide-range of professionals and scholars. The Spring 2014 issue is focusing on U.S. security strategy.
Brown in his statement said he hopes that the partnership will be beneficial to the Elliott School.
“I believe this will be a capacity-enhancing move, for both the Elliott School and The Washington Quarterly,” Brown said.
