The music festival “All Things Go Fall Classic” took place Saturday at Union Market and featured headliner Kygo and openers such as Niykee Heaton.
It was a relaxed, easy-going atmosphere where people could listen to independent and electronic music. Other acts included Baio, a new two man band whose music consisted of a fusion of electronic and amorous song lyrics.
Many who attended the event loved the atmosphere. “It was a really cool venue…it was a really cool kind of hipster vibe,” said Gavin, who is from Oklahoma City, Okla.
Other attendees enjoyed being able to escape from everyday stresses and just take in the music. “It was a great event, not a whole lot of people were there,” said D.C resident Carleigh Berryman. “Not super high energy, so you could relax with your friends.”
Not only was there music, but there was delicious food from restaurants such as Buredo, which serves big sushi burritos. Other eateries included Takorean, a fusion of Korean food and tacos, and Dolcezza which includes “old world” gelato.
Overall, it was a great place to just hang out with friends and listen to some indie and electronic music.
